You can get a cheap b18c1 from Osaka motors I think they are $2900 from them. You can also get a swap from Hmotorsonline.

id take the rsx and sell ur civic befor the resale value plumets after a new engine.

RSX = Terd IMO. My cousin just sold his boosted RSX and only got 8k for it with custom leather interior, wings west body kit, cybernations turbo kit, IC, Apexi S-AFC, full blitz guages, etc. He went through three different turbo manifolds and still had problems so he bought and EVO 8. It was fast, although it ran like shit. You will want to mod the RSX and with a big payment it's harder to mod it to make it fast. Just think what you could do to your civic with that extra $400.00-$500.00 a month. Besides the newness of the RSX will wear out after a couple of months and you'll be like, "damn, I should have kept the civic". But the Type-S is a "nicer" car. Then, when you get to the point where your making some real cash then you can buy a cruiser.

he only got 8K for a RSX boosted??? That is very weird? So do u think that i should just go type r or gsr?
