Well I guess all you guys are right ! BEATING on the motor kinda means nothing to me because no matter what you do when you race your beating on your ride . Now as far as the turbo setup well I never messed with it but I would say to get all the papers on the work he has done to the car and ask him to let you trade cars for 2-3 weeks see what happends . If he trust his car that much he will do it and thats how you know if hes for real !
It's just like buying a used car from a dealer: "As is". No warranty, no support. If it blows up, it blows up and you're out of a ride. I'd either buy it outright or walk away.
