Default Got anouther civic today, Questions.

Ok i got anouther 94 civic dx. But this one is weird. I have a few questions.

1. Why is there two Brake resivoirs. One on the Master Cylinder and one by the fender.

2. What is the second radiator for I think it is for the AC.

3. Can the whole AC be removed incluiding the pump?, Or will do you have to leave the pump on. Will this make anymore power being disconnected..

This is going to be my stricktly project Civic. I am using my other one for normal everyday car..Any answers would be great...

:eh:

1: one is your master cylinder the other is your clutch fluid
2: it's called a condensor, it's for your AC
3: I removed mine. You are supposed to take it to a shop to have the system purged (legally). It is a pretty heavy system so you can gain some speed out of it.

What are your plans for it?

Yeah removing the AC system will make your car 38lbs lighter . Someone on here posted a DIY thread on removing is AC system and the weight on it was 38LBS . At the time I did'nt think him posting that would help any but hey here we are ! . Umm yeah if your the nice straight person go get the system dumped by someone who has a tank . If not just let it out into the air the world is F**cked up enough as it is you know !
