verify bushing sizes/LCAs please.
already changed the trailing arm bushings with my brake swap. They're great, no problems.
oh yeah, and I have a giant tub of grease... i never used that ES lubricant. They don't really give you enough anyway.

When I called ES to complain, they sent me a package full of their grease but I still used the marine grease per their tech's recommendation.
I can't wait to drive my car and see how it handles... I got the front all together but can't drive it because my drivers side lower ball joint is bad; it actually popped out of the steering knuckle, it's not even pressed in any more
The only thing holding it down was my CV axle

"They're not designed properly to allow for the full range of motion intended by the OE parts and bind up. Most bushings move laterally as well in the suspension."

I've been daily driving and autocrossing on those bushings for almost a year, absolutely no problems here. Considereing the cost of replacing that bushing with a stock one (mine were shot), it makes no sense at all to go stock. I check it regularly, and its never been outta whack. :dunno:

The steering rack looks to be sporting the oem bushing.

Yes, I realize what a steering rack is but I thought you were showing a picture of the bushing installed on the steering rack and the only bushing I saw was on the rear motor mount.

Ha ha, sorry I was just messing with you. My ES kit had black bushings instead of red. Some people have said the black was denser/stronger but I think it was just a different color. I just bought the set of a local friends shop and I didn't really care about color and those are the ones he gave me. The steering rack bushings are installed there, but they're so little and dumb you can't really tell. Here's my LCA with the black bushings (I drilled and tapped grease fittings but never used them).

That's pretty slick with the grease fittings though. How long have you had the bushings on your car? Have you had any problems with noise as a result of not greesings them?
