Default What size tires for 17's?

My friend wants paradas spec 2's for his 17" rims on his 02 civic...

question is... what is the lowest profile tires he can get... he wants paradas spec 2....

these are the sizes i can find... what's the lowest profile out of these?

205/40WR17
Blackwall

205/45WR17
Blackwall

215/40WR17
Blackwall

he's trying to keep his car from rubbing, so it's time for some low prof's... thanks!

7th gen actually requires a higher sidewall from my experience to match stock tire size.
i would suggest 205-45017

but to answer, 205/40 would be the lowest profile out of all of those.

the problem being his car is rubbing right now with his tires, so we're trying to go small with them...

What size tires does he have now that he's rubbing? How low is he? The newer civics should be able to handle bigger tire sizes because of their larger wheel wells. I think he could even get away with 215/40 but since you said he's rubbing, I'd have to say go with the 205/40.

The lowest profile of those three sizes is the 205/40 profile... and probably the best size if he wants his car from rubbing.
