Default Inexpensive header recomendation for my 96 DX Hatch?

......
Eh...
I am very value oriented because I do have a girfriend and she just doesn't understand...
Anyhow, can anyone recomend an inexpensive header for my DX SOHC...?
I found some HP motorsports parts for like $200.00 but I am not sure if they are any good...
Also does anyone have any experience with MONZA cat back exhaust system by PACESETTER....?
Thx!

Save your money. A header on a dx is pointless you will still be slow. If you must get one though they are all about the same. One isnt going to incredibly outpower the others.

Personally, I wouldnt touch the motor. The best way to get power out of a 1.5 SOHC is a turbocharger or supercharger setup. Going N/A will cost a lot. I would suggest working on the suspension rather than the motor if money is a issue.

With just a header, intake, exhaust setup, it wont give much of a gain.

Pacesetter assemblies are by far the worst. They are made of mild steel and will rust on you over time.

If you do choose to go the N/A route, look for products that are made of stainless steel or have ceramic coats such as Greddy, DC Sports, Apex, etc. Quality does come with a higher pricetag though.

When buying stuff for your car, always remember this equation:

Pacesetter = CRAP

did Import Tuner tell you that?

realistically, a header setup will get you 1 hp if you are lucky.

the cheaper the parts the worst it sounds... its better just to stay stock until you can afford a good mod.
