Default aftermarket hood ideas?

Do you guys know what i can do to my aftermarket hood to keep water from getting into my underhood parts? It has cut outs with mesh and the rain goes straight through and cracked my manifold... An ideas? a rain guard? where can i get one? or what kind of things do you guys recommend me doing?

I have heard of people using plexiglass so that you can still see what is under the hood but keepin water out, just an idea. I don't know how well it would hold up to heat though.
