Default Exedy Clutch?

Anyone running a Exedy clutch
More specifically the 98 dollar one off ebay?

Claims to be 5-10% better

Can anyone advise me to another inexpensive clutch solution?

www.prostreetonline.com. Forum sponsor who is giving good discounts! I'd shy away from a 98 dollar clutch. Good ones go for no less than 250ish +

The ones he is talking about are OEM replacement clutches, and Exedy produces Honda's OEM clutches in the first place. They're quality products, just not performance products.

Exedy's sport clutches are more expensive.

I've dealt with clutchcityonline. They are legit. They're a good business. But as far as the 5-10% better than stock, the stock clutch is only half of what a clutch should be, so expect it to be crap and you'll be happy. If all you have is bolt-ons, it would be fine. Turbo? not a chance. Get an ACT.

I have an Exedy in my car. I got the $175 setup that comes with a brand new flywheel.

Im going to be running a d15b7 block and a z6 head. mini me with bolt ons... the stock clutches hold up pretty well i think. this is my original and my car has 125,000.

Personally, I'd go for a Exedy sport clutch on a modified car. Feel is better, initial grip is better. If you can handle the extra ~$100, get the sport.

Either clutch is a good buy.
