how old are you all?

Somewhere along the line, like many others who at the time are new to the car scene, I went a little overboard and riced the car out. I added hood pins on my stock hood (worst mistake I ever made), a "Type S" sticker I bought from Autozone placed next to the words "Toyota Camry" on the back, generic windshield banner I bought from Autozone, blue foglights, blue lights in the parking light housings, blue headlight bulbs, and a tailpipe tip.

19 and my first car was a 93 FORD Escort LX well it wasnt the nicest car ever especially with its 88 hp but some how i fell in love with it till i saw my frends sol i fell in love again
Just so you guys know how good you have it,
I’m 30.
I got my first car 2 years ago, a 99 Corolla, my current 95 Sol is our (me and my wife’s) no. 2 car.
Saw a Sol for the first time a couple of months ago and fell in love…
Why had I never seen a Sol before, and why did I get my first car at only at 28?
I’m from Israel, car prices there are x2 than here and gas prices are x4, and NO Sols.
So no car for me at 17, although I did get to drive my parents 89 Gallant…
No car from 18-23 as I was in the army (compulsory service), although I did drive lots of 4x4 including Hummers and also some personnel carriers and mobile Artillery (~30 tons)…
No car for me as a broke undergrad student either…
So got my first car when I came here to do my PhD a couple of years ago.
And the Sol is my 2nd car…
So keep in mind how good you've got it...

That’s “slightly” oversimplifying things, although has also some truth to it.
I won't get into third world exploitation by Western countries or into the outrageous tendency in the U.S to buy gas guzzling SUV’s and 5-liter engine cars.
But lets leave politics out of this nice forum
