A grand tops is about what I'd pay. But I can't really be judgemental since I'm about to throw $2900 down for a '92 (non-Honda).

i wouldn't go so far as to call the b16 a torqueless wonder. look at your engine...it also has way less torque than hp.
it seems to be the honda way of things anyways. to use lack of torque as a negative thing is to insult honda
j/k

anyways...you can find a decent b16a swap for about 1g. WAYYY less than for a b18c, unless you can find a KILLER KILLER deal on one. i'd just get the b16 and do a few mods.

wow. considering you're in CT, and i bet you get pounded with snow every year, that car looks to be in great shape. if you're planning a motor swap anyways, the shell looks to be good to go. (minor rusting over the fender well, but it could be alot worse)

if you're seriously interested in the car, like everyone said ... wave around some cash up front. he'll bite and you'll have an extra 200 to spend on armor all, floor mats, and a new radio.

Just because it's something I've always wanted to do. I know a guy with an H22 with aftermarket cams in his EJ1 and it runs a 13.7.

I'd just love to have one someday. :naughty:

Some swaps may be easier, but I'm past the easy swap stage. I want something nuts. I'd totally strip the thing and make it a drag car. oh ya...

Anyway, great price on the car. Just hope the other side looks as good as that one pictured.

It shouldn't be to hard, I mean I got mine with no rust and very few dents and really good interior for 3500 a little over a year ago. GL man I love my hatch.

If you plan on building the engine then I would get the cheaper B18C. By the time all of teh work is done, either would be powerful.

the hood doesn't sit right on that CRX. Make sure theres not structural damage that is causing that
