Default Car Wreck

Hey! Haven't been on here in a while...so I thought I'd say what's up and tell ya'll about the car wreck that my boyfriend and I were in, the day after Christmas. He had a 1994 White Integra GSR...with brand new tires, motegi rims, rebadged, CAI, tail light conversion, and he also had a GReddy header on the way, as his Christmas present.

I can't put pics up right now, since I'm a tard and don't know how, but I think they're on his cardomain page...

Teggy

We were traveling on the interstate on the way home from dinner. This particular interstate had no barrier in the middle, it was just grass. (Woo hoo...that's alabama for you)
So, this Honda Pilot decides it's going to make a U-Turn and go RIGHT through the grass and cut out in front of us. They were sideways, trying to turn into the interstate when we hit them, and we were going about 75.
Scott, my boyfriend, swerved to the left...trying to miss them, but it made my side of the teg closer to the rear of their car. The impact was so great that it shattered both windows on my side, and the windshield...and the airbags deployed. We stopped spinning in the median because we were stopped by mud and grass. I couldn't breathe so I struggled to ask Scott if he was ok. I swear, I thought I'd look over there and he'd be dead...but Thank God he wasn't. He was barely hurt at all.
We both climbed out of the hatchback...while a bunch of people crowded around to help. I called my mother telling her I was okay, and by that time the police and ambulance had gotten there. I turned around as I was sitting on the ground...and the sight of the car just made me sick. I had a severe headache and neck ache, I was cut really bad by the seatbelt, my nose was bleeding and swollen from the airbag, my hands were cut by the rings I was wearing and the glass that had flown everywhere, and my legs were messed up because the dash collapsed down on them.
The put me in a neck brace, gave me oxygen because I couldn't breathe...and put me on a stretcher to go to the hospital. Scott held my hand the entire time, and I just cried and cried...
He said that he almost cried, because he thought he'd really hurt me. I rode to the hospital alone...and it was perhaps the scariest thing I've ever experienced in my life.

Please...please please, watch out for yourselves...and watch out for the other guy. You never know what can happen. And please buckle up, It WILL save your life.

it was outta the cops jurisdiction.

That is the worst. Be grateful that those minor injuries were all that you sustained. I've been in your shoes before except I was T-boned by a semi truck going 50 mph. I was knocked out and when I finally came to I was in the ambulance on my way to the hospital. Make sure you take the time and see a chiropractor, its well worth it.
