Default quick question - need quick answer

What is the sensor on the back of the intake manifold on the driver's side on a D15B7 or D16Z6 that has a round, black cylinder on top of it about the diameter of a quarter and it has a vacuum connection to the intake manifold?

I looked on www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for it and it doesn't show it.

Help!!

Nope, it's something with vacuum. I think it's a vacuum pressure sensor, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks tho dave.

it's a purge control solenoid and I think it has something to do with emissions cause it's connected to the charcoal cannister and the back of the manifold.....The only thing I really know about it is the name (see above) and that it can break from you just looking at it.

hope it helps man

Yea, tommytoes is right...I know from experience. Mine was disconnected and my CEL came on showing an emissions leak...
