Default LOWERING ? u could save a life!!!!!

my friend has a 97 civic ex and wants to lower it one inch on stock wheels and tires by cutting the stock springs. I told him this is a dumb idea, but he insists it can be done, and i know it can too, just dont condone it. He IS going to cut his springs no matter what so i at least want him to do it the rightt way, if there IS a right way? any input would be helpfull so he doesnt kill himself using a spring compressor. thanks

well the right way aint cutting your springs...

Honestly if your friend wants to drop the car an 1 inch, H&R and Neuspeed OE Sports would be the key

or if you can find some grab some OEM ITR Springs...those will drop the car 1 inch as well...

safest way of doing it...

There's no safe way to cut your springs. It's 100% better to just go out and purchase lowering springs.

your friend is cheap and dumb. Do it right the first time and get some quality aftermarket springs, and then don't worry about it again.
