Complete swap or just the head or block or etc? Osaka's got that rotating banner ad running on HAN right now. Follow that link when it comes up. They had some good prices for SOHC complete swaps, and the reviews their customers have written on here are pretty promising. Check em' out.

Osaka has them listed for $550 for the complete swap with hydro tranny. I think that'd be the way to go if you've got enough for it (Shipping I'm sure will be at least 250-300). Lots of extra parts and you can be building one block and running the other.

Hmotors has a D15B (JDM SOHC VTEC) for like $450. I'm about to install one next week...

 

if you have a 1.5L block just get the head off a 96-00 y8 and do a mini-me. a bunch of guys here sell the head for 100 bux.

 

Well the civic motor specifically in the car is 92-95 cx motor...d15b8...I'm kinda all new to this would the vtec head fit this motor or would i need to just get new motor and tranny?

Yes, a SOHC VTEC head will bolt to that block.
