I got a civic lx 92 stick. Since a month ago the car stalls when running and sometimes the engine just turns off (just few times). I've been reading the different aswers in this forum....besides a bought a manual...I found out that it could be the main relay,,but since the car runs and stalls when running, I'm not quite sure about the main relay. What could it be?. Just as a note my mechanic check the distributor is ok, the vacumm presurre is ok, I even clean the fuel system but still the same. my car got a new battery, dry spark plugs, good plug wires, new rotor, and cap distributor and new fuel filter. I tried with the codes and everything is ok No codes.
it might help when the car is running uphill climb tends to stall longer and i have to gear down or up to get back some power in the engine 'cause the engine just die. In addition uphill the car tends to turn off.
