If you want it to work really really really well, apply it to your (spotlessly clean) windows 3 times, and buff it clear between each coat with a clean, dry paper towel. Don't do it in the dark.

It will corrode your rubber wipers a little faster. It drys them out quicker making them more brittle and not as flexible (what you need it to do to conform to your windshield). But I think Rain X is worth it.

I use it and cheapo Car and Driver wiper blades from target ($2 each!), that way when they die sooner it doesnt matter (plus without using rainX the C&D blades outlast almost every other blade Ive tried...even the pricey ones)

im a detailer a jaguar dealer in illinois imo rainx works well but waxing your windows works just as well if not better. put a coat on wait 5 mins take it off repeat this 3 times so you have a total of 3 coats and it kicks rain x's ass...

That's pretty much all rain-x is anyway, right? A form of wax designed specifically for windows.

I need that fog-x, though. When I'm at work, no matter the season my windows get all fogged on the inside. I can't stand it because I can't see anything and I have to wait like 5 minutes until my heat actually gets warm.

I use rainX and never use the wipers in rain. 35+mph the water just beads off the windows. It works well and I will always use it

White[Pony]: If your car is going through coolant, or you can't keep the reservoir full for long, you might have a bad heater core. Keep an eye on your coolant. Breathing those vapors can also make you sick. Your car will smell like waffles if there's a bad leak.

Actually Rain-X is WD-40. It has the same component makeup.

I use it , two

I use it on all my glass. It does leave a haze unless you buff it out really well. I also put it on my headlights so bugs are less likely to stick to them.
