Default 7th gen pricing

I went to my local performance shop and I know all the guys that work there. I was talking to them and told them my gf is looking for an 04 Civic Ex w/side air bags and automatic. The shop told me they knew someone at the dealer and made a call. We went over and he gave it to us(the last one in the color she wanted) for $150 over invoice. So it came to $17,000. Does that sound about right to all of you? We checked KBB and it said invoice was $16800. It should all be done and complete by next week. I know I'm excited.

That sounds like a good deal. It looks to be ~$250 over invoice for sedan, ~$650 over invoice for a coupe. That's only about a 2-4% markup which is a good steal from a dealer I think.
Congrats then!

Its not a bad price on the car. Not all people can get it. But if i remeber the invoice should be about 16500 because the four door 03 EX was that and the two door is actually less (the extra motors and glass in the rear doors) The real question is what is the APR and i bet you bought the gaap insurance and the warranty and of course the alarm right. Its ok though it always sounds good at the time right. Don't worry its supposed to.

She is financing through Honda for 2.9% for either 3/4/or5yrs. Its up to her. No Gaap insurance and no warrenty besides the usual 3yr 36000. This is a no frills purchase. The only option she is getting is the fog lamps, but we're buying that "on the side". My cousin hooked this guy up big time in the past so he is being good about everything. After tax, tags and title it comes out to 18000 and change.

She wanted the better gas mileage the Civic offered. That was one of it's main selling points vs the Accord
