I am looking for an engine for my 94 civic. i would like to get a D16, and i was wondering what you thought would be the best way for me to get an engine. i have a friend that will put the engine in for me. i can either get him to do it or i could get a performance place to do it. i know that it probably depends on who puts the engine in, but i just thought i would get your imput. thanks.

 

i wouldnt swap in a full d16, if you have a d15 just swap heads and ecu.

 

u can do that? the only reason i thought i would get a full swap is because my existing d15 has 250k miles on it. the motor still runs really strong, no leaks or any knocks. if anyone wants to buy, please contact me.

 

talk to bakeoff he has a few d16's in his grauge but if u arent in the midwest u could try local junk yards that is where he found his...

 

doesnt matter how many mile are on it, aslong as everything is a ok
