well an LSD has the limited slip differential, which is usally alot more, but the basic difference is that it helps with slippage (if that wasnt obvious from the name lol)
Honda tranny's are either cable or hydraulic. It basically refers to the ways the clutch is hooked up to the tranny. Hydraulic ones are usually newer. LSD stands for Limited Slip Differential, which is an option that helps the tires to spin at the same time (kinda like a locker on a 4wd vehicle if that helps). Look on www.howstuffworks.com and that should help explain it a little better. A tranny isn't LSD or hydraulic. It is cable or hydraulic. LSD can be on either one.
