Need Help: Doors Rattling
On my head unit there is a setting that is called Equializer curves, It has low, medium, and high. I was wondering if that would also cause the speakers to blow? I have my low set on +3, my medium set on +2 and my high set on +2. I know this probably means nothing to anybody but someone might know or have the same head unit I do.

It could be you had your bass turned up to high on you mids, that would cause them to blow fairly quickly just a thought, I run my loud feature on med. and I have no problem with my 2 speakers blowing

Don't know if this will help you, but when I was helping my friend install upgraded speakers and a sub on his 2.5RS we stuffed his trunk lid and the area around the door speakers with mattress stuffing, and his car does not rattle. Just be careful about the windows and lock mechanisms and stuff

I just want to know what the settings should be at. I don't want my speakers to blow, People say that distortion blow speakers which is true but I want to have the settings correct.

alright i'll help ya :bigok:
first, take off your door panels, inspect the plastic rivets and make sure they look fine... it helps to replace them with brand new ones because they stretch out and make the door panel loose.
i took mydoor panels off and tightened every screw in there.
second get yourself sounddampening material
dynamat is nice but you can get other shit for cheaper like Raamat (which i used :bigok: ) brown bread, fat mat,
third fill the upper trunk lid up with foam from home depot its called "foam insulating spray" and its in a blue can
fill up the trunk lid with it ... let it dry then cover the lid with sound dampening material. you can do this with other places like the ine rear quart panels too
