It does make a difference on my B16A. And you can definitely hear me coming a mile away 
I love it, but they have to fix the gas tank knock. The only way I fixed it was to put a gasket between the joint in the b-pipe and my tank.

N1 rules...i had a Gpower medallion tanabe and then the muffler got all crusty so i chopped it and had a n/a version of the N1 muffler welded on. It was really quiet since i got the small version and was turbo. Nice for highway cruising to school 50 miles a day round trip.
