h: I've stayed out of that thread of yours. After a certain amount of posts per thread, the 63 megs of memory in this computer pretty much lock up. Gonna fix that soon....still, $250 is kinda steep

most oem manufacturers use 4000-4300k range
the blueish/purple tint they get are from the actual projector housing they have which are made specifically HIDs

3500-4300k is where the most productive white light comes from. anything higher than 4500 would defeat the purpose of HID's.
