All CF hoods should use hood pins.

Although not everyone does. :rick:

well i dont know what type of hood you have but on my vis the latch is very strong and holes are predrilled so that i can put on the oem rubber trim to keep air from getting underneath the hood. at highway speeds before i had the rubber trim on there was no movement whatsoever. basically as sturday as my original hood.

Trust me. Your hood cannot be as safe as a CF hood with pins.

I have had mine for about 4 years now. No fading. No breaking. Still looks great. Fiber Images.

I've had my vis for 2 years. the only thing that happend is when i took it off last winter i hit the corner on an I-beam in my garage. the cf wasn't damaged but the clear coat chiped and i had it fixed but customized in the spring.

I LOVE MY VIS!!!!
