im a newb myself to cars, but ive learned a shitload over the past year, and mostly from this site. i really dont think theres anything you can learn thats not already on here. i understand if you want a book to lay everything out in a nice, easy to follow format and all. but these civic guys here are the freakin money when it comes to knowledge of hondas. personally, id take a subject (i.e. suspension, exhaust, turbo, anything general), and do a search on it. i think youll actually find it more useful cuz you can get peoples opinions on what works, and what doesnt. besides HAN, these are some others that ive found extremely helpful:

http://www.hondaswap.com/index.php espcially the reference and articles

http://tech.hybridgarage.com/ lots of good swap info

http://www.bseries.net/ name says it all

ill use these sites every now and again (hondaswap more than the other 2), but im on HAN every day cuz these mofos know what they're talkin about. honestly, ill take their opinion over pretty much anyone else's, including a mechanic, not that i ever go to one though (but mainly cuz i dont need to cuz of HAN).
