well, i haven't gotten it checked out yet, but this is what i and chrisDC2 think. i think the water pump fail (which has happened before). not a big deal, but my temp gauge wasn't working, so i didn't know it was overheating. and i was in bumper to bumper traffic. so i pull off to the side of the road, coolant boiling over, radiator busted, and massive knocking. i have a feeling the head is warped and who knows what the pistons look like.
