do the stock civics come with only denso parts? Is it certain years or all years? Should i replace my oxygen sensor with denso brand or bosch? how good of quality is denso?

 

Nippon Denso has been a big parts contract holder for years, I don't know if they still are though.

Denso parts are found under the hood of most Japanese imports, Hondas, Mitsus, Mazdas, etc. They are a good company that makes good parts.

An OEM Denso O2 sensor is going to be a better choice then a Bosch sensor, but will cost a lot more.

If I am not mistaken, they make the OEM washer fluid sprayer motor too Both brands are good, but I'd go with Bosch- or whichever is cheaper.

 

They make a ton of "oem" parts, but for an O2, bosch is just dandy. Whatever is cheaper, go with it.

 

so its not real critical for sensors to be high dollar? what will a bad o2 sensor do to my car? nothing?

 

a bad o2 will probably make you run rich,...which means a loss in gas mileage,..sometimes bad o2s can make your car run like ass also,..anyways a bosch o2 will be just fine,...bosch makes decent shit

Probably. Denso makes most, if not all the electricals.

Did Mitsubishi ever make alternators for Hondas? They also made some electricals under contract for other companies, but I don't know if Honda ever bought into them.
