but shouldnt you have gone a little lower on that compression? and i know what bored is but 10 over?

I was going to go to 9:1 on the comp, but I don't have $4K to put into the turbo for a while and I wanted it to run well without it. If I dropped the comp too low it would run like crap NA. I planned and researched A LOT before I came to that decision.

10 over is 10 thousandths. I wasn't sure to type it as .010 or .0010 so I just put it that way.

I had it bored to get rid of all of the blemishes on the cylinder walls. It's cross bored so it looks really clean...

if you stoke it you will be able to drive it every day. legally you can only bump it up to a 2.1 to be legal, that is .3

I know, but I want to be able to take it on trips and know it's reliable. I'm happy with my work and what I've done so far.

im saying once you figure out you want more than what you have now, which is more than enough, bore the bish. looks tight though, are you going to dyno the engine soon b4 it goes in the car????

Ya, you're absolutely right. The swap alone will satisfy me for a while.. then the turbo.. then the monster bore! MWHAHAHA!

I want to dyno it, but I live in Montgomery, AL and there isn't a dyno for 70 miles.

I may have to drive up to Birmingham to get it done. The south sucks!

No man, really. AL is the WORST PLACE IN AMERICA!!!!

I grew up in AZ (hence the handle). westcoast is the place to BE! I miss it SO much!!!!!!
