Default JDM Type R ???

can anyone here please tell me where i might be able to find or even buy a JDM Type R front underbody spoiler? I have a EJ8 (USDM Civic 2000). also can anyone tell me if it will be a direct fit or will i have to redo some holes?

You talking about the front lip?

It may be a stupid question (on my part)....

actually that is one of the types... but there is another one in which it looks thicker. because the one that you posted looks like the USDM type that you can buy from dealership.

There are only two CTR styles.

96-98 CTR style:

99-00 style:

the 99-00 Si lip looks very similar to the 99-00 style...if not the same.

I dont think the 96-98 style will fit unless you change the bumper. I think the lip hugs the grill opening on the bottom. [changing the bumper means changing hood, fenders, and headlamps] ....which will mean you are doing a reverse conversion from 99-00 to 96-98.

allight... that make more sense... well, right now i have the oem underspoiler for the front... which looks like the 99-00 type R one... so i guess i'll just stick with that.

The only place you're going to have to drill your car is to set the screws at the very ends of the lip in the fender on the front bumper. That's basically where screws would be on the Si/stock lip anyway. Underneath there are slots where clips would go, and you'd drill holes into the lip to connect the bolt/connector.
