I have them and the HP+. The HPS are a great daily driver and autocross compound, but I think Hawk pads dust a little too much.

The HP+ are awesome but create more dust then the HPS

My friend has the HPS on his bimmer...my other friend has them on his VW... they say they are the best pads they ever used.

I really don't know how bad they dust up since my friends hardly drive their cars or keep them super clean

I have the Axxis Ultimates, and they are one of the best that I've tried. I know for a fact that they dust up the wheels but the stopping power is great.

 Cool thing is most of the dust washes off with water. Super easy to clean off.

Ever think of using Carbotech pads? I'm going to try some next season.

I did a lot of research and came up with a lot of good results for the Hawk HPS and the AXXIS Ultimates.

Im looking for a pad that is good for daily driving where i dont need to heat up the pads.

CivicSiRacer....I heard the HP+ is a good track pad...how are they on the street for daily use?

So far...Im deciding between the HPS and the AXXIS Ultimates. h:

RX-7 guys swear by them for street cars. I'm looking into a set myself.

hmm...now im leaning towards the HPS. just talked to a buddy who has two cars and has both setups. he says the HPS bites harder than the AXXIS Ultimates.

The HP+ do not need any heat to work. They bite right away. I used them all year for autocross and daily driving (once in awhile swapping out for the HPS). You can definitely lock up the brakes though if you are not careful.

People mentioned that they will wear out your brake rotors quicker but I've had my rotors for two years now (last pair of pads were AEM/Nissin).

Oh yeah I had AEMs last year and won 1st place in my region and various other regions. Good pad, less dust, but definitely not like the HP+s I have now.
