I was wondering what a 96 civic DX redlines at. I have no clue and when im racing i never know wat my redline is. i was thinkin about takin it to a dyno but i got no clue where any are around here thanks.

 

Your dx has no tach right? Why does it matter if yoiu know if you have no tach. Most of the non vtec motors i have come across top out around 6k. Maybe that helps.

Hey i have a 98 dx hatch... i wondered about this too... and lots of people told me red line was 6200 rpm. Maybe you can hook the tach up and see where your rev limiter kicks in at... and set your red line just before that... Im tryin to beat the hell out of my dx... so some day a nicer engine will exist in it.

 

yeah ok, thats high reving that sh!t, i think its a 6200 also
