yes i'm new
hello fellow solers from around the states. i have a "sky" blue 94 si sol. i just got it this summer about 3 or 4 months ago. it is 10 million times better than my first car which was a toyota previa mini-van. i haven't done anything to it yet but christmas is here and i have a job so i was thinking that a tanabe rm was a good place to start. what would yall think?

I usually like to start with wheels and suspension cause I think that improves the cars looks the most. I just don't like the look of stock cars with stock wheels or hubcaps with clear lights, or mufflers. It's up to you though. I know suspension is expensive if you want a really nice setup. The stock wheels are okay though as long as you get rid of that gap.

I like to see someone that is thinking of performance right away. But still, my recommendation is to bypass everything and save for a turbo setup, or a swap, or start with suspension. Power to pull you through the corners doesn't mean shit if you can't handle.
But the fact that you're thinking Tanabe right away proves you're not an idiot! Welcome aboard!

i would rather do alot of performance work before i do any looks on the sol. to me it would be a bigger suprise that i could smoke some one if my car looked stock. my car isn't faded, every where, the hood, trunk, and top have lost their clear coat and the doors seem to be a little lighter than the rest.
ps soltaker, i work for my dad who is an insurace district manager( he didn't pay one penny for my car) and he has an agent that look just like that guy and his name is phil
