Reading ownz me.

 

Before I took my hybrid to the exhuast shop to get an extension made, I drove my hatch around with nothing after the cat for a few days. Pretty damn loud. I took the cat off a few months later and put a test pipe in and the exhaust got real high pitched and sounded horrible so I put the cat back on.

 

Hrm can't figure out where the exhaust leak is coming from. Am I missing any gaskets? Are there any for the header? From the header (collector pipe) to the cat? From the cat to the b-pipe? From the b-pipe to the exhaust canister?

And WOW! is my car friggin quiet! I started my car and had to look at my rpms to see if my car was running I've been driving around for 3 years with an N1 exhaust

 

Found the leak. I didn't tighten the bolt between the collector and the cat

But now my car looks like a monster truck. Very weird. Ride is SO nice and I cannot tell if my car is started when I turn the key. Very very weird. Next week the snow tires go on, cause last night WE GOT SNOW and sleet and I was on the Azenis FUN!
