Default Where to buy 205/50/15 tires cheap?

I am about to pick up a set of 15" steel grey rota c8s. The place i'm buying the rims from doesn't have a tire package deal so i'm wondering where i can find the cheapest 205/50/15 kumho ecsta 712's or a similar tire to that. Does anyone know if the falken ziex are comparable, they seem to be quite a bit cheaper?

Tirerack.com has some of the best prices out there. They sell the 205/50 15" Kumho 712 for $60. See if your local tire shop will match their price or find someone who does if you'd rather shop locally. I don't think the Falken Ziex are comparable but I don't have any firsthand experience. Everything I hear points to them being like the Nitto NT450s though.

Spend a little more and get the Falken Azenis..but if you plan on driving in the snow then scratch that idea. I'm going to get the Azenis to throw on my 15/16's when I get them and roll factories during the bad weather.

I rode in a buddies R with the azenis and i wasn't too impressed. There is no snow usually in my area but i think i want to stick with the 712's. Discount tire offered me 780 for some 15" konig heliums with the 712's mounted, balanced, tax, everything.

any high performance tire will suck in the snow. best bet, get some snow tires for a set of steelies, then get your choice of hp tire for the good weather. (most of them are great in the rain/dry just not snow)

Again for the last time the Azenis DO NOT WEAR OUT QUICK. I've had these tires since January, have about 6000 street miles, 15 autocrosses (4-8 runs), two track days, and 30-40 laps around the Carlisle Road course and they still have LOTS of tread left. People who are wearing through these tires quick have ludacris alignment settings.

I have to say this like 5-10 times a day on every board. It's getting very annoying because someone heard from someone else who heard from his dog who has a cat that is friends with someone else (but doesn't tell anyone he has 5 degrees negative camber and 1" toe out front and rear).

Yeah any tire will wear out quicker with those settings.
