Default Installing Starter

Any tips on installing a starter? the tranny mount is in the way i and i can't get it in correctly. it's a b-series tranny.

Put a jack under the tranny and remove the upper tranny mount and then just line it and tighten the bolts down and hook the 2 wires up. Pretty simple install.

it's easy enough that you shouldn't even have to remove the mount.. :dunno:

Ya, I never remove the mount. :dunno:

It's 2 14mm bolts, a 12mm nut for the power wire and a pull wire for the actuator wire.

Takes no time at all, especially if you have an aftermarket intake.

Everytime I've pulled the starter it's been to change a clutch so I remove that mount anyway. If everything fits, then everything fits (I was just commenting off his post).
