True, but you can get a lot more out of a chip. Really depends on the app... bottom line.

Out of the two options, I would go with the vafc. You're not getting cams, or changing where the motor can safely rev. The Vafc will be able to controll vtec crossover and a/f ratio. Plus it looks cool

It's a known fact that all the "megen" style chips run rich and then are designed to be leaned out with a piggy-back computer.

I don't bother, and lean it out in the ECU.

You can run both the chip and AFC, or just one of my custom chips, which will at all times make more power than AFC tuning.
