Default Any Ideas for a y7?

I am stuck with my 98 civic lx for atleast two more years. Other than a motor swap, which i dont have the money for, what other stuff can be done to gain some power out of the y7?

in 2 years everyone's civics will be the same......i say save money for a better car. if don't have money for swap and are on tight budget trying to get power out of that motor would be waste of time. so save for a newer car or just go looks.

JDM ZC pistons and rods and crower stage 1 or stage 2 cam. If you can afford it, put a Y8 head on it with all of the Y8 trimmings.

Go with d16a1 pistons if possible or d16a6 pistons because they're easier to find. Both will raise compression greatly.

You will not be happy with changing stuff around on this engine bro unless you decide to turbo in the future. Either save for a reliable swap, a turbo, or as suggested a new car. Save and get something you really want man....don't waist money on what will never make you happy
