front bumper question (civic ex)
i drive a 1999 honda civic EX, and my question is: are there any airbag sensors in the front bumper?
i'm trying to drill some fog lights in the bottom grill and i want to make sure i'm not screwing with the air bag sensors.
thanks

so there are sensors in the bottom of the front bumper? right below the bottom grill (under the license plate area)
i think there is an airbag sensor bar across the front of my radiator, right behind the bumper...if that's true, would there be also sensors in the bumper itself?

no they are not on your bumper, they should be on your frame but just disconnect your battery and you will be fine. Better yet go get a helms or chiltons manual for your car and really find out for sure

Just woundering . What happends if you hit a major hole or something might that trigger the airbag ? Maybe a stupid question but hey its good to know . And if not how hard a hit for the bags to deploy ? thanks !

Unscrew the compartment in the bottom of your steering wheel and take that red plug and put it in the short connector of the airbag wiring harness in the steering column.
Or, just unhook the battery.
