Default I bought new headlights

Well I got these headlight about a month ago and I wanna try to buy those knock off hid lights . The bulbs on mine are rainbow looking when there on :ghey: . anyways there not like the stock ones these take 2 bulbs one for reg beem and one for high beem I would like to know if anyone has a set and could tell me the number I need or bulb I need to replace it . Thanks a lot !

your beam pattern will always be a "rainbow" no matter what kind of bulb you use b/c your lenses are ION

in most projector applications...the low beam is a H3, the high beam is H1. you'd have to find out which one it uses. some of those headlamps have them stamped on the casing itself.


the halo itself doesnt use a bulb.

cool but if its an h3 and I need brighter I need an h4 right ? or is that the size of the bulb ? I thought it was the brightness

its the bulbs size.. no matter what you do with those light output will suck

they (no disrespect) are (from what ive heard on this board) just notorious for having poor light output.. maybe it is the lense shape? i mean ive heard the question you are asking a THOUSAND times.. and it has always ended the same way..

well, those little bulbs are for fog lights really. and you're trying to use them for headlights. Bulbs will just change the color, you will always have the rainbow effect. they wont be any brighter at all unless you put in real HIDs
