from the research i've done and facts i've seen the sri is better in most cases putting out more power and better throttle repsonse. Everyone is like the cai is better for top end (which does shiet for a d-series) and its not that great for the money.


But if anyone is interested i have AEM CAI(used for 6 months and just reoiled the filter) with bypass NIB (never installed) :thumbup:

go back to the stock airbox and use a drop in filter. its probably the best for your d-series.


i dynoed the my car using only a stock airbox/drop in filter...and an RS*R catback. 6-7 WHP.

i don't have my stock airbox anymore because i left in garage and i some one took it or threw it out. i've been wanting to do that for a while. Does the Spoon drop-in filter work?

why go spoon?...b/c it is Spoon? spoon works....as well as all the other drop in filters.


just get a K/N drop in....it is the same and will do the same at a fraction of the cost.
