Default installing integra map light

went down to the pick and pull today and picked up a few things:
- 94+ integra map light
- two 96-00 tweeter panels
- two 94+ acura vigor c-pillar lights

the c-pillar lights shouldn't be a problem, but I need to do a little painting on them first before install (they're tan, so I'm gonna spray them black. Nothing major, and it'll look sweet).

but the problem is the map light. I remember hearing of a few people installing this (can't remember if it was in this forum or jdmc....), but I know you need to cut an area out to fit it and run the wiring to power it.

thing is, the fixture seems a little too big h:

anyone have any links? maybe (hopefully) pictures?

tia

I was hoping there'd be something about putting the map light in h:

they're from a coupe, so I don't think they fit totally right. Lemme get a shot real quick....

thats surprising. I thought if they were for a coupe, they'd still fit right. Oh well. You could still figure out a way to fill that gap in and make it look good. Plus, its a whole lot better than having to cut a whole in the door panel.

I was thinking about tweed? Not to sure on what I can do, but haven't really thought much of it.

its the damn map light that has preocupied me. Luckily, I found part of what I was looking for (a thread on JDMC has a DIY on installing a civic map light), but there wasn't pics of the teg's light.

I posted on the thread, so hopefully I'll hear from him and get some pics of it. Then I'll make a DIY.....
