Default Anybody with modded ECU? ??'s

I think I'm going to get the Jun chip for my car. 4400 vtec crossover with 9200 rpm revlimit. Has anybody done one of these, or similar? Doesnt sound but so complicated to install. Just curious of ease of install and performance gains, if any. TIA

i've got the jun program for my p28.. it's for b series motor (not gsr) and has vtec crossover at 5800, and 9800 redline. really nice program. my friends car pulled much better with that program than the stock jdm p72 program.

Intake, 4-2-1 stainless header and hi-flow cat, 2 1/2" catback exhaust, so far.

Bumnah, did you buy the ecu, or did you buy the chip and install it? I just want to get the chip and put it in.

Get one from ericksracing.com, you call them up and they chip one for your mods.

bought it a long time ago from newman, and had katman chip it.

cost me like $50 or something. p28 was free. no complains although i've never used the program on my own car

I can solder just fine, its the desoldering of the original chip that has me worried though. How much do these usually go for to get it done? I know jdmhondaparts wants $160...

I agree, and when I have a whole whole lot more engine mods I might consider. I just want the chipped ecu for now though.
