Default Came Out of Perch

Ok today when I was driving I didn't see a speed bump and hit it pretty hard. Afterwards my rear left strut was making a knocking sound so I pulled over and looked at it, inside trunk and all. I saw that this black stopper thing (don't know exact name for it) had came out of the perch. Will it be ok to drive for the next day and a half until I put my new springs on in which I'll put it back on? This is the piece I am talking about:

You've been having lots of suspension trouble haven't you?

I am really confused as to how the hell that would come out....

that looks like one of the washers that go in where the shock comes inside the car. Number 13

Might damage the strut to be without it (side loading might wear the seals). It's a bushing that holds the strut into the top hat that actually bolts to your car. There should be a big flat washer between that washer and the top bolt (I think it's number 1 in the picture above). You should find that washer and reinstall everything.

Oh I know how I need the washer and all and what the piece is and where it goes. That's the reason it popped out in the first place, I forgot to put back on the copper washer between it and the fastening bolt. I realized that after I had finished everything when I put my H&R's on and figured it wouldn't matter TOO much til I messed with em again. I am putting on my new s-techs this friday so i was going to fix it then. Only thing I was worried about was it hurting something ya know. So since I'm going to be fixing everything Friday afternoon and have to drive like another 70-100 miles before I get to fix it, think it will be alright?
