was goin to sell it to but my friends supercharged convertible rx7, with a bunch of stuff done to it already. But he called me earlier and said its motor blew today.

 

Figures, that's usually what happens. I'm amazed my last engine didn't blow when I was trying to sell it, everything else went wrong. Was it built off the six port N/A or the four port TII block? The N/A six port can usually be found cheap if you look hard enough. I'll have a spare in a few months.

 

It was a 6 port with about 6K miles on it.

 

Did he break it in before it saw boost? That's kinda weird that it would pop so quick IF it was broken in right. 'Tis a shame.

 

Hell yeah! he babied that bitch for 3500 miles, took him almost 3 months. And the charger has been on for about 1500. Said he was just cruisin along at 65 on the interstate it just made that noise and died. I'm sure you know what im talkin about kai if you ever heard one blow.

 

Thankfully, I haven't had that happen yet. Near 50k miles between two high-milage rotary cars and I haven't experienced it... yet.

It's not a matter of if, but when.

"Well another motor bites the dust.I was just cruising along about 65 down 460,about 15% throttle and the car just died.Coasted to a stop,try to start again with no luck,got the tow dolly and brought it home.Got home and it started but motor was shaking badly with no power and sounded weird out the exhaust.I think just 1 seal gave out this time,i dont have any money to fix it and am in the process of having my house built.So the car will be sitting for awhile,i havent decided what im going to do with it,or even fix it.Im working on a deal with a 3rd gen right now,but not sure how thats gonna go.Well one things for sure supercharger kit for sale,everything needed right down to the injectors."
