Some guy on hondatech ran a d16 to 16 psi for a while and made 302 whp. He just had a 2mm headgasket and some ARP headstuds but i would highly discourage going over like 12 with that same setup.

Then he upped it to 20 psi, warped a head and hydrolocked it but it didn't blow up from boost.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA That makes my day!

I'm running 7psi right now. Just changed IC's and the pressure drop brought me down from 8... oh darn. Stock internals... Don't need it blowing up before I get to have some real fun with it.

haha yeah that guy was ballsy, he's doing a built motor now i'm scared to see the new numbers.

I think he went high 11's with that 302 whp setup on pump gas in a CRX, i was like when i talked to him about it.

I thought I was being called out. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess 7-8 safely on stock internals, but if you upgrade those, then..

wow maybe you should invest in a hooked on phonics videotape set before you go off "getn some eagel rods"

And i would go ahead and get pistons too, they are one of the weakest links in a honda motor, shit send it off to benson to get it sleeved while you're at it too
