should i put STOCK back on?
i have a iceman intake. i nkow it doesnt have any hp gains, but it does sound nice. I was wondering if i should sell it and put my stock intake with resonator on and a K&N filter? or should i just keep the iceman? i know this isnt anythign major, but what do you all think?
what the hell are you talking about. the intake WILL give you some sort of a gain, plus the sound, plus the throttle response. people telling you a drop in filter is just as good are choads.
besides k&n filters cost like 35-40 wow then you'll have 60 bucks left from selling the intake. lot thats gonna get you.
sorry for coming off as a d!ck but why would you want to work backwards?

well, not exactly. You tend to loose low end power with an intake and gain a tiny bit on the high end. Also, i bet many will say throttle response stays the same, and even might get worse. But thats more personal opinion i guess. And about working backwards, if you see a lot of the true fast cars that have FI or all motor, then u'll see many run their stock air box with K&N filter. So its not a bad idea. I was just curious as to wether or not people prefered to have intake or stock system with new filter.
I'd say keep it since you got it already.
