Default Cx and DX ECU

Well i just got done with the dounting task of changing heads. My poor CX head was pretty much dead. I got a good deal on a DX head. Right now it runs pretty bad. Im thinking its the ECUS and that the cx and dx gas curves are different. My engine is really boggy below 3 thousands RPM's, im thinking its getting straved for fuel, but at 3 thousand or higher it runs great alomost, my guess is that it hits the CX gas Curve. Im i right or is it somethng else? plus how much do DX ECUs go for? THank in advance.

PS I also got my new rims so to say, that are 92' Integra GS rims. No more Steelies

i'll bet you there is no differance between the cx and dx ecu. these cars have the same motors. so logic says that all the rest will be identical too.

They are not the same motors.

The CX is an 8 valve [72 hp] motor. The DX is a 16 valve [102 hp] motor. They share similar engine codes, but the motors are very different.

engine codes are different too CX= D15B8
DX= D15B7

So do u think that it is b/c of the different fuel curves?

You could be right. I leaned out my VAFC on the bottom and it was all boggy.

they should be chippable up to 96. I've seen chipped PR3's so I know it's been done.
