Just getting to 7,500 miles on a 2000?? That would mean you're late for an oil change, PANIC!! lol

Don't have to go to the dealer, Jiffy Lube is fine

Well, the Honda dealer will perform the CORRECT maintenance items that are required on the maintenance schedule. By doing this, they'll probably give you a little stamp in your owner's manual saying that you've completed it.

This is a good thing, especially for warranty issues. More than likely a good dealer service record will score you points with the service writers and a lot less hassle. They will also come in handy if you want to trade your car in. You would normally expect to see a higher trade-in value on a serviced vehicle vs. someone that took it to Jiffy Lube (what a dumb-ass).

Dealer services are

STFU. You know nothing about the dealer. If you would take it to these people, why not just do it yourself and save money?

Normally, they'll do an oil change, check your tranny fluid level, check your brakes, tire wear, and under carriage. They'll also get rid of that little orange indicator. You can also do this by sticking your key into the little hole right by the indicator window.
