my friend went to the local import shop to ask what the pricing would be for a prelude or a type r engine in a 98 civic, teh person there said it would b around $6000 for a prelude or a type r engine which includes everything im not sure either is he about how much these things run for. is this a good price or not. and also the hp he claims will b around 200

 

depends....USDM will get aorund 195, JDM is 200...(cause of the compression differences i think)

www.hmotorsonline.com sells Type R's for 4600(full swap) of course that's not including shipping/installation, so it sounds like a good price....
