Hey all.. I was just wondering if any of you could help me out; I have no idea what it could be. I did a search before posting, but couldnt come up with any similar results. Anyways, the warning light came on in my stepdad's 97 hatch dx, but he says the car drives fine; as a matter of fact, he says it feels peppier (sp?). Checked under the hood and everything looked fine. It couldnt be an oil change reminder either b/c he just did that about a few hunderd miles ago. I wouldnt know if you would call it a problem right now, but maybe it could be a early warning to a future problem? Any help/comments are greatly appreciated.

 

pull the code and tell me what it is. you'll never know whats wrong if you just look under the hood if its something electrical or internal. unless you're paddy from legend of speed.

 

use a paper clip and find out fool.

 

okay first of all,...is this "warning light" the one that lights up yellow and it says "check" on it or is it the one that isnt a light at all but just a maintence required warning?
