RSX motor in 2001 civic sedan?
is it possible to drop RSX motor into a 2001 civic sedan LX? i read somewhere that the rsx motor is 'backwards' so they dropped it in the new Si cuz its the same way i guess... what motors can i drop in a new sedan?

No I think all 2001 and up Civics/Integras have the engine spin the other way. So you might be able to do it. Cuz don't they all have newly designed engines? Or does the lesser ones still have D series?

have fun buddy. I saw the rsx type-s swap on ebay at $6500 with reserve not met.
if you do it you'll be one of the pioneers. as these cars get newer they become harder to phuck with.

it is definitely possible... it should also bolt directly in the civic engine bay. however, wait a couple of years before you plan on doing it... gotta give it time before you see some wrecked or salvaged RSXs hehe

anything is possible with an unlimited budget, but get ready for a hell of a time as honda will begin making all of their motors "backwards" (they have actually been the ones that are backwards) they want to be able to supply engines to other car companies, like how daimler-benz does with mitsubishi. good luck though i saw type s swaps being sold for 10500 just for the motor
